Poor Man's Opera is a rock band. And a front-end loader drenched in chocolate and covered with colorful candy sprinkles.

Poor Man’s Opera was assembled in 2003, an assimilation of its operative components Morgan Beach, Luke DeLay, Matt Stein and Logan Penington (the latter continuing operations elsewhere). Morgan supplied the candy, the others supplied the rivets.

Poor Man’s Opera started leaving tread marks and delicious treats around the midwest as a cover band. In 2006, PMO released its debut EP of sterling originals called “Lucid Interval.”

Soon thereafter, Poor Man’s Opera commenced smashing out original shows.

Poor Man’s Opera intends to continue smashing out original shows. And it intends to welcome ever more devout fans to its shiny modern rock facility, the smoke from which rises ever higher.

Stay tuned . . .
